G'day bladeracer,
I addressed the prospect of Matt's 94 to you due to Nailfinder wanting a matching number example and Matt's has a mismatched bolt However if he should change his mind on that it is decent of you to defer. the other issue which is minor is the sling, it does not have an original carbine sling but a modified sub-machine gun sling. Cut to the proper length for a carbine these are only distinguished by the extra number of holes in them. I will still get some more info on the rifle and see if Nailfinder or you want to make an offer to him, Cheers.

A neighbour has an uncle that has lived in Sweden for many years, but he comes home every Christmas. I was planning to discuss it with him in a couple weeks to see if it's possible to get one from Sweden. But I suspect the freight alone would be $2500 at the very least.

Trying to determine a market price for these has been impossible. I think their rarity here makes their market price whatever the buyer is happy to pay for one on the day he sees one. Being collectible tends to drive the price up further as such pieces often become the last piece needed to complete a set of Swede rifles.

I found one that sold for $1200 three years ago, but I suspect that was under-priced for some reason.

No1Mk3 - have you seen an M94 in Oz or are there only M94/14's here?

As an alternative, I have a Tikka T3 in the calibre which is both accurate and effective using custom 140 1nd 160 grain projectiles. Easy to load.
Great pig rifle.

Custom bullets? Are these readily available?
