Non-standard font sight arrangement on a Lee No4 Mark 1

Hi mates

I am looking into buying a No4 from someone in my club but I notice it has a strange front sight arrangement, without the usual big screw.
I wonder if someone else has come across something similar?
It's a Savage.

On my other No4, I have the following set-up with the the big screw, which you use to loosen the dovetail.

I just wonder, how does it work if the screw isn't there?

This is a fairly common variation with US and Canadian No4, the Protector is Mk2 (Fabricated) and the Block is Mk1 with Foresight Mk1.

Do you have a reference or somewhere where I could discover more on how this works?
I can't find any single picture on a the net of a similar arrangement, with that mini tiny screw on the left, and the two big holes on the top?

So what is the function of the tiny screw in front? is it to allow a windage adjustment?

Sorry Vince, I shouldn't answer questions whilst drinking rakia, Mk2 Fabricated Protector, Mk2 block with Mk3 foresight. These blades were supposed to be a friction fit in the block but often came loose so a front lock screw was fitted. The Mk3 block had top screws to lock, but yours looks different in having 2 side by side instead of the more common 3 in line. There is also a Mk1* foresight with a split dovetail for the Mk2 block but it doesn't have the lock screws. Cheers.
