Gents these are turning up in America, at least according to ads on gunbroker when I was browsing. Had anyone heard of them before? Does anyone know what action they are based off?

Rossi's version of the Marlin 1895 I think.

Totally agree about the barrel mate. I think it only comes in 20 inch. Bit bizarre they do 44mag with 24 inch but the 444 marlin with double the powder to burn only comes in a 20.

I had a search around and the only 444s I could find only had a 16.5" barrel, which is pretty ****** imo

Yeah that's the remlin dark versions, and yeah 16.5 " is crazy. Whole reason 444 was designed was more power than 44 mag and a 16.5 barrel wipes 150-200fps, basically halving that advantage right off .and vastly added blast lol.

The rossi 95 444 don't appear to in Australia yet
