well i've come to the conclusion pete that fireforming brass for my 250 is a PITA

only you can answer which caliber suits your needs best . i remember you get onto deer , 308 is a no brainer , i've found ADI brass to be very good . last bag of 50 i bought was $76 . no big deal losing 308 brass in the bush , it's plentiful . i'm not a 243 fan , over bore barrel burner with a horrible shoulder on the case . that's one thing about the man bun, it's basically designed with a ackley style shoulder and a good neck length for consistent neck tension . ignoring all the hype and marketing hoo-ha , it's technically pretty darn good design . due to the hype people tend to have high expectations and try to push it to do more than you should . i see the 6.5cm as a bit more capable round than the 243 , but as a hunting round it's not the equal of a 308 . i couldn't care less about 1000 yard ballistics
