Martini Cadets are such interesting pieces of Australian firearms history. The simple single-shot action and distinctive design give them a lot of character, and well-preserved examples are especially enjoyable to see. I always find it interesting how many of these old rifles have survived and how much variation there can be between individual examples. A good collection of Martini Cadets really shows how practical and enduring these rifles were in their time.
