Yeah, I need to check it out. Thought you might’ve had some ideas having the same ailment. Got to watch what I do these days

i should get it fixed under work cover , but if i do the company i work for is screwed having me off the tools . do you know if you can get stuff like that fixed if your between jobs ? it's documented i did it at work . if i take time of now , the company could go down the gurgler . if i wait and they fold anyway i might not be eligible to get it fixed, and be on the public system

Respectfully, dude, you clown - YOUR BODY comes first, not your work. You can't help work if you go down mate.
If you did it at work, you will get Workcover and a real proper private surgeon.
If a part of your intestines is herniated and it has a large blood vessel in it - they are all over the intestines - and it gets pinched where it herniates between the gut muscles, it will wither, die and you will be walking around with a bag at best, at worst kick the bucket from infection - blood poisoning from a dead set of guts.
Get to a proper GP and get to the correct surgeon mate.
Hey, I'm a big bloke from a lifetime of lifting heavy things at work and play, but when you walk up I always get a shock how bloody big you are mate, you tower over me and I'm 6'2". You are a Hulk Hogan alright. Fuggin' look after your body mate. You come first.
And if you're not sure, you know where to come to ask for someone who will fix you better than new.

perentie wrote:I do higher neck shots. Or rather did. Those deer I shot in that story I wrote on Hunting the Bensback were neck shot. The shock right next to the spine drops them and the major blood vessels in the neck are ruptured and they bleed out. Need a soft nose that fragments quickly. Next time you shoot one , autopsy the neck and see where its all located.

Maybe I should be a bit more concerned about mine. Its the size of the top joint of my thumb

Nothing keeps moving, unless the stalk has been stuffed up and then, it's off anyway..
I'm imagining my own method, and how, one way that works every time this is the situation, the best time to trip the trigger is when they put their head down to feed again.
Or when/if they stop and look up.
Because you are watching them through your scope, you have stalked in, and they are unaware of you, because you are a hunter.
And you are waiting for the right moment.
Using patience.
Perentie is an experienced, patient hunter, and my spirits are lifted knowing he has chipped in on this.
