i just wanted to chime in and say im only new and have only just got my licence but have shot for a fair while using other licenced shooters gun at the range i decided on the lithgow in .22lr synthetic stock i put a leupold vx-2 3-9x40 scope on it with some leupold PRW rings went to the range with 100 cci minimag 36grain, federal standard velocity, cci standard velocity, eley club i ended up shooting 250 rounds that day with my brother got it sighted in within 40 minutes and was punching 10cent size holes out of the target at 50 metres with the cci standard velocity i thought i was missing but i wasnt i was actually putting the bullets through the same hole and everytime i go now i can easily punch a hole out of the target i hope this information will help someone who is looking to get one so they know where to start with ammo. :D

Was wondering if they have sorted out the few little niggles with the LA101? Need a bunny buster and I certainly would like to buy Australian made

Good shooting mate, a few others and i have found they like the cci standard velocity and if you really want to get tight rws high velocity hp or sk magazine but thats just a few rifles, best to grab a box of everything and shoot it all good to hear your liking it!

I was at the range on Monday May 16th and a bloke was using one. He has been trying for some time now to get it to shoot groups he could be happy with, but at the end of 100 rounds on the day, trying different ammo types, he still couldn't get it to consistently hold 25mm groups at 50 meters. My CZ 452 Varmint will easily do this with Power Points, but the Lithgow can't do it. The rifle's owner has reached the stage where he's ready to call it quits - and this bloke is a former benchrest shooter. The problem is not the nut-behind-the-butt. He's given it a real good try, but just can't get the thing to shoot. Oh and by the way, the trigger is about 3lbs, and that's not great for varminting. My two cents worth? I wouldn't buy one.

mine is really good shooter and I don't have much shooting experience, this is 5 shot and 10 shot at 50 meters, the ammo is CCI SV, I am happy with the crossover, kind of thinking sell my Anschutz

That's 10 rounds at 50 metres.. Whilst I have issues with feeding. Accuracy has been excellent.

I found the club ammo is about the same for me. I did notice a couple of flyers with the sport that I didn't get with the club.

I bought a 1000 rounds of sport and overall it performed almost as good

Bugger about the car.

Was at the range on Friday night giving the two pistols a work out

Did this last night with my crossover. First time in a couple of months I have shot it. 10 round in the 10 ring.

I was using Eley Club this time.

This was my first shot of the night. I thought about packing up and going home

Had a short day out on a property and after 15 shots it started again.
These were shot on a plastic fold up table+bi pod and a rolled up towel, And with the new scope it should be great next time at a range.

I will have to try sk rifle match.

Sucks about the stove piping. I don't know what to do with mine. Live with it, sell it or lose it for another 3 months
