Hey fellas I thought some of you might appreciate a nice JM Marlin:
Stretched the little fella out over the weekend - I know it's a travesty to scope a lever, but I just couldn't resist the urge to let her shine - after all she IS capable of sub 2moa! FYI that's a little Leuie AR mod 1.5-4x20 - one can replace the turrets with customised versions to match your ballistics (that's the eventual plan).
There are three main reasons why this us my all time favourite rifle:
1. Reloading is not nearly as daunting as with any bottlenecked cartridges; no lubing, no cleaning/tumbling, no stretching, cheap primers, comparatively low powder usage - total reload cost is down to only 28c/shot!! She just loves eating 115gr lead pills over a full case of AR2205.
2. She stabilises cheap, cast-lead better than any rifle I've seen - shout-outs to HRBC for their amazing prices and consistent product.
3. She can consistently group under 2moa, even out to 100m!
There are many other more obvious pluses with this rifle but I'll spare you the detail.
Here's some 100m plinking:

And also some 200m lobbing (winds were really picking up by this stage, making things just a tad trickier):

Anyways enjoy
