GC Precision Development = Boring Rifles

G'Day Fella's,

A mate of mine has a business, initially producing Chassis Stocks and now, complete Rifle packages.

Here is a link to some field use, of one of these rifles;

For more info, please check them out, at http://www.gcpdarms.com

Appologise to all those people, that thought that the .308 WIN was an obsolete/Non 6.5 and dead cartridge.......

No worries, I thought you were saying that Gareth's rifles were boring. Do you own a rifle or chassis that he built?

I cannot get the link to work on YouTube, which may have explained the 308 reference. Do you feel that the 308 needs defending or that it is capable as other 6.5 cases? I do not understand what you are saying here.

G'Day Fella's,

The above link to the YT video, has been rectified (I hope).
Here it is again; https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2hV3_gM ... qBwmNEzp_k

Yes SCJ429, I have a chassis stock on a Rem 700 long action (in .338 Lap Mag).

Nice, he does beautiful work. Pity the 338s are not allowed at the range.

Yes thanks for the working link, great footage. I still don't understand the stuff you said about the 308. Was someone saying that the 308 couldn't hit stuff out at 1000 or were you saying that the 308 was competitive with other 6.5 calibers at that range?

They are stunningly well made chassis for the Rem and Tikka actions. Once I win Tattslotto I will have one on a .338LM and a 408CT and my own chunk of private f*** off big land to shoot them 8-)
