Rebarreling an Omark?

Hi, is rebarreling an Omark 44 worth it or not?

The one I am looking at has a Maddco barrel adapter on it, can they be re barreled like an normal rifle then?

Do these work okay with an adapter or do they loose strength and accuracy with them?

An Omark type barrel is out of the question due to excessive cost!

Barrel is ok but I am thinking of changing calibre

the Omark is a dedicated comp rifle for f class
if that is what you want to try it would be a great start

Nothing wrong with a omark for a long range rifle I had one 20 years ago and it never seen a range for as lo g as I owned it

Couple of years ago i changed one to 223 found a mab omark in 223 cal last one think they made so did not need an adapter then i fitted it to ahttp://hatchersriflestocks.com.au/prod ... rk-44.html good project

Hi Haemish, curious do you still have these adaptors ? what size/thread barrel do they accept ?
