I've shot a lot of different machine guns, several dozen so far, but have not shot a minigun yet and would like to.

Yes and from memory the last thing you wanted for rabbit control was an Abrams tank.
And no you can’t have this either.
Yes you still have rabbitts and probably always will.
but at least you don’t live in a crater that can be viewed from space.

Certainly a thrill thumbing the power switches and squeezing the trigger on one of these. Though truth be told the big brother is just awesome! M61A1 Vulcan 20mm! Now that is a mini-gun!

I was talking with a work colleague the other day and in the aviation unit he was in they trialed a tri barrel 50 cal minigun on the UH-60 Blackhawks and the recoil/noise was so intense the gunners had to wear mouthpieces to keep from breaking their teeth.

Fun but a solution in search of a problem. We looked at miniguns for vehicles working in Afghanistan(very very briefly)the older GSHG soviet types which everyone could get end user certificates for. The issue (apart from the ammo storage lol) is of course their level of target saturation. Even in moving vehicles you are wasting a lot of rounds on targets, it just dumps them too quickly. Their best application is air mounted or air targeting, where the relative target speed is very high. This looks like the inventor is about the same age as us who grew up watching Jesss ventura in predator to be honest :D
