Do you have the ability to reload, otherwise it is pot luck.

My T3 happily shoots 80gn Federal blue box ammo. Just under MOA. It shoots slightly heavier stuff even better - sub MOA on anything from 87-95gn. I've had good luck reloading the Hornady 95gn SST with a very basic Lee Classic Loader setup and 2209 - 1/2 - 3/4 MOA, but realistically you can achieve that from shop ammo.

The 243 is a real power house and you should be able to sling 90 plus grain projectiles at some very respectable speeds. What are you looking to hunt with it?

I shoot 87 grain vmax’s with my t3x Lite .243. I am happy with how they go. Very effective on Roos and devastating on foxes.

I'm using 75g. Sierra but for Feral dogs and the odd fox or feral cat gets in the way as well...

I have a T3x Hunter Stainless in .243 since new and have tried a bunch of ammo and found that the Federal Powershok in 100grain is very accurate IMO. Its $34 / 20 at Horsely Park so is a good bit cheaper than some. I texted it at 50-100-200+ 300 meters and 375meters and was very happy.

Each rifle varies, apart from hand loads which I make now, my rifle did shoot OSA Buffalo River 70 gr ammo quite well, but they were a bit expensive for me to continue buying - http://www.osaaustralia.com.au/products ... erra-hpbt/

Too heavy for these uses in my opinion (unless you are chest shooting roos). I've got the same rifle and currently have about 50x 87gr vmax's loaded. When shooting foxes, the projectile passes right through them with not as much damage as I'd like. I have switched to Hornady 65gr (v-max? cant remember the name - they have the red tip) and I have found they dump A LOT more energy into the target upon impact.
Edit - found an example - viewtopic.php?p=175328#p175328. This one was taken with 87gr, the hole you see is the exit. I don't get little holes like that with the 65gr pills.

Fair enough. They have gone well for me. Having said that my 204 with 40 grain vmaxs is what I mainly use for foxes. In respect of pills drilling through, I had the same issue with the 70 grain load in the OSA ammo. Mind you, they were a hollow point match projectile. I haven’t used the 65 grainers, but I have no doubt they will stop a fox laughing in church.
