Diesel or kero or petrol. I prefer diesel because it's a very light oil.

how is kero aggressive? take the barrelled action out of the stock, clean it down with kero to remove the grease, then re-oil after letting it air dry for a bit...

Carby cleaner or Brake cleaner should get it spotless.

Brake cleaner here too...
Its also good for cleaning the tub liner of a ute...!!

I left it in the back of the ute (canopy) for a trip...
Impatiently pulled something out from underneath it...this popped the lid off...

Yep...you know where this is going...

Couple of paddocks & one bunny warren i didnt see had the can wedged between the fridge & wheel arch...

Threw a bunny in the back & got a beer...thought i could hear a hiss...then i thought it cant be cos still had ear plugs in...

Unpacked the car when home...threw empty can in bin & wiped out section of tub liner...looks better than new..!!..smells like brake cleaner but...

It'll do the job mate and it'll leave a very fine coating on the steel as you clean give it a good soak leave for 10min then start wiping it off

Kero will not leave a film of oil after cleaning so ensure you oil it after cleaning. Almost any oil will do.

Mix it with citronella oil and put it in a few garden torches to keep those bugs away.
