I think Howa might be the best be for your money. Brand new you can get a Howa Varmint .223 for $850.

A Howa 1500 could be an option too.

Everyone's seen Sons of Guns I guess.

The chick in that is doing AR's in every colour of the rainbow. No shortage of lady buyers apparently.

your misses would benefit greatly starting with a .22 lr or a .22 magnum and then move her on to the centrefires when shes ready.
ultimately you want to give her a entry level environment so she can pick up all the good habits especially safety ones...good education guns and good for small game if hunting is on the agenda.

I personally would go for a .22 mag its still cheap to shoot and recoil is negligible so as not to give her the jitters lol

22LR, .223 and all you're missing is a game rifle down the road if you go that way.

Either of the above two to get her started will do the biz.

Meh to the air rifle, more time behind the 22 instead ;)

Yeah she has used a few guns before mostly handguns and a rifle or two so she isn't scared so much as just a little weak in the arms. The 22 and air rifle are mostly for me to have a little fun with out in the middle of nowhere our laws might be bulls**t but I can still have fun haha.

At least an air rifle is only a couple of hundred bucks.

Cheap fun really.

Yeah, an air rifle is quiet as well so there won't really be an issue if I need to shoot some rats or such out the back.
