A trip down memory lane "The AK pumpy happening"

G'day all,

Requesting any more info if people have it on the AK pumpy saga, this took place back in 2003-2004, I remember pre ordering one through someone like owen guns or something I think, but this was a long time ago, They made it to australia then were seized and never released I believe.

If anyone can remember more details id love to hear them.

(this pic was actually from my old PC and must have been saved around that time)

Interesting mate, I don't personally recall them.

I do recall another pump action around the same time which Hermans guns were bringing in. They were a space aged looking grip repeating bullpup( the entire grip moved to cycle the action) and I think they came in everything from 300win to 338 lapua and maybe even a 416 rem(!). I can't remember the name to even search it but I remember the price, :) They were a limited run of a few years, never made again I don't think.

looks like an ak bar the gas system... lrd would hate it for good reason...
i am digging it though love it. even looks like an ak receiver. wonder how the pump action runs the bolt? spring assist prob forward...would actually be pretty cool if we could have it .... even with 7.62x39 is pretty cheap these days too because its kinda usles compared to pre 96

your right! weird, i dont like the idea of an ak pattern gun in 5.56.
would be kinda cool to own one though, get the whole bulgarian bakelite ak47 look going on
pretty sure customs or lrd would have some sort of cardiac event if you tried to bring one in.
