Why do people expect the OP to use a RH rifle when he is LHanded?. Very un-natural. Its like the 50s when some schools force LHanded kids to write with RHand.

DJC, Just be patient and sesrch for a LH rifle. Dont listen to old thinking dorks mate.

It is just constructive objective suggestions to give the OP some options they may not have considered. There isn't a lot of traffic on this site at times so anything that starts a constructive conversation should be welcome.

I do agree with you that if you are patient, the right LH rifle will come along.

55gr projectiles shoots sub MOA all day long.

Anybody know what the cheapest/most affordable options would be for a Left Handed .223 bolt action?

The OP is asking about cheap LH 223 rifles. Not about how to use a RH rifle. He would understand that is an option. People might mean well but buying a RH that would be way down the list of options in my book.

LH is best option

Perhaps BO or levers could be options too.

I'm definitely considering Levers, although not many have detachable box mags
As for break action, I can't seem to find many in .223

Not quite, considering a MDT TAC21 chassis with a LH Rem 700 or Tikka T3x Lite LH, both in .223

My missus shoots a TIKKA T3x .223 left handed and it is a great gun. I don't think you can go wrong with one of them.

Just buy a new LH Tikka. My mate has one. They really are an accurate rifle.

Like I said. If you are already considering the Tikka then that’s the way to go in my opinion.

I agree, at a modest price point the Tikka offers far more than the Remington. It has an excellent trigger and a quality barrel. Two things that Remington has struggled with.
