Rossi 92 .357 Mag twist rate?

Post by bladeracer » 07 Nov 2019, 6:02 pm

I have a new rifle coming and I want to start making ammo for it for testing.
But I can't find any spec on what twist rate Rossi use in their .357's.
Does anybody know what it might be?
Or simply know whether it'll shoot 200gn bullets okay?

G'day bladeracer,
1:30 for the new Rossi, they will shoot the 200g, as a friend was casting at 189g and coating with alox, but need to get the velocities up to 1500fps or better to do OK at 100yds +. Speeds in the 1000fps range didn't shoot well past 50yds with the heavier pills but seemed to shoot the 125g Hawkesbury quite well, Cheers.

Thanks No1Mk3, I'll try the 200gn RNSP and the FTX then and see how they go.
