i have a hard time thinking that remington would invest in an entirely separate system of tooling (millions of dollars) to make ****** guns. and then sell those guns for next to nothing and make no money back on their sub par equipment. so thus I will happily back the idea that these barrels are button rifled with the same s**t as the rest of the range. the other issues are all things that can probably be sorted out but tweaking things, my breech is a little tight no matter what rounds, thats in part due to their ejector design, but ultimately if they used different buttons to rifles these vs the other factory barrelled actions I would be very surprised, now in saying that remington had a massive problem with quality control for a while now from the top of the range to the bottom, I bought mine knowing I could buy another barrel made after market for like $280.
Howa make an exceptional rifle, however I prefer the triggers that they used decades ago on the CMC Mountaineers instead of the HACT now. My 223 shoots 0.4 groups at 100m with hand loads.
