Any opinions on this one? Comes in a Magpul stock, muzzle break, 20” varmint barrel. Best quote $1325, also available in 6.5 Creedmoor.

aaaaaaand I have opinions on these also, however mostly good things, they can be fussy on ammo, mate of mine has one in 308 also and its mostly ok, but its fussy as on ammo, he is having success with norma and winchester ammo.

i have a ruger american rimfire and its a well made gun, the range seems solid. good bang for buck

I'd still buy a tricked out howa 1500 with extended mag instead.

Thanks flutch. I’ve got an American in 22 mag, and it’s not a dear rifle by any means, but it’s hard to fault the way it functions and shoots. A bit skinny in the forend would be my only criticism. It’s easy to get a good grip on, but a square forend sits nicely on a bag or out the ute window.

I recently was in the market for a new .308 and I ended up with a Tikka T3x Hunter. Great gun and was around $1400 off the top of my head. —->I’d have to pull the receipt to be sure.

I have a .223 Ruger American and find it a very solid gun. So you you can’t go wrong with whatever you choose.

YMMV
