Another of my bucket list rifles ticked off the list... Harrington and Richardson built 1873 Springfield Trapdoor, cavalry carbine .45-70 in barely used, as new condition.

Wow I just saw this thread and at first I thought are you for real that looks like brand new not 100+ years old. Then got down to see it is a repo regardless it is still a very nice rifle a real shine or depth of colour in the steel. Happy Birthday mate great present to receive.
It’s gotta be highly unusual to find a rifle built in the 1970s that’s been handled so little let alone hardly fired. It’s literally in as new condition!
