:o so I started shooting this rifleline ammo at the range just to put some rounds through the barrel and it had a really hard time ejecting the brass?? I could barely open the bolt? Anybody know what's going on?

An unusually hard bolt-lift, can mean excessive pressure. Has this happened with other factory ammo?

A pic of the used brass could help. Also a pic of the fired primer still in the case.

This hasn't happened with any other ammo. I can't get a pic sorry guys. The gun store seems to think there was a burr on the case? Or something like that could have made it difficult to open?

Was there a smeared shiny mark on the case head from the extractor?

Mate close ups of the cases will help immensely. Ensure to take a photo of the bottom of the case so we can see the primer.

Yep; I can see a bright rub mark on that one at about 1 o'clock.

I recall reading an explanation years ago that says that excess pressure drives the case into the bolt face. When the pressure is bad enough, some of the case flows into the ejector hole and stays there. When the bolt handle is lifted that tiny bit of flowed brass is broken because the bolt-face turns at the same time. This reveals the sub surface brass of the case head and accounts for the bright, curved mark.

Curious to know if it was only the one case, or all that were hard to open. Wondering if you are entitled to a refund.
