Short Action or Super Short Action

Heya Guys & Gals
Im looking at buying a boyds stock for my Browning X-Bolt in .223cal.
I'm looking at the "SPIKE CAMP" stock.
I am of the belief that the .223 is a "Short Action" and I can order the stock in that configuration but I was recently told that my X-Bolt. 223 is a " Super Short Action".
Can anyone help clear this problem up for me pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeese
Cheers & keep shootin str8

Never heard of that so I had a look at their website, I can't find anything about an action shorter than the short-action.
What model is the rifle?

It's not chambered in .223WSSM (Winchester Super Short Magnum)?

Yes, I meant which specific model of the X-Bolt, so I can see if it is indeed a shorter action. All the X-Bolts I see on their website are short-action, long-action or magnum-action.
Also, which .223 cartridge is it chambered for?

Okay, looking at the Website, the .223Rem is indeed listed as "Action: SSA".

Not finding any further info though.

My X-Bolt Hunter .223 is a super short action. If you take the stock off and look inside you'll see "SSA" chalked in there. And yet I still have to be conscious of not short-stroking it. Many of their other .223 flavours are Short Action rather than Super Short Action.

Generally, if you specify the distance between the action screws that will remove any doubt as to which action fitment is required.
