Can’t argue with you there, I’ve already got a 336 in 30-30. Laminated big loop model. Just after the Henry X for something different.

Well then we are in the same situation. I have a marlin 336 30-30 and am looking around for a 38/357 leave action to do some cheaper and more frequent shooting with.
To me personally the Henry looks cheap but marlins are so expensive considering i already have one.
I would be interested to hear what you end up going with.
