It will be interesting to see the price, advertised at $1379 USD MSRP ($1800 AUD depending on the dollar and any import markup). It might be an more affordable option than the $3000 AUD (rough price range) price tag for a Browning Maral.

The Maral is an awesome rifle and so smooth but it definitely comes with the price tag to match. Plus the predator model using common AICS magazines will be a selling point as these are far more readily available than the bespoke Maral mag's.

I think if they come in under 2K there will be a niche market for guys after fast follow ups for pigs and such. But be hard justifying an extra K over some very reasonable bolt guns that do the same job, just a tad slower.

Democrats have the white house and the senate now and the guy they put in charge of gun control is the most militant anti gun campaigner.

I can imagine it will cause quite a stir when they try and remove semi auto from the population just as they did here in Australia.

Linkoln Democrats have a slim majority there are Dems that won't go with it like Ted mancen you would have to live here to understand if you are voted in by a group and are chosen to represent them in a state that normally would not vote for you if you did you don't do it.
It also takes 2/3 to the move a law and if it does Trump just apointed better than 50% of the judges it will be in court for a decade and our politics will change Republicans will take back the house and Senate Democrats know it

That's the same price as a plastic stocked Browning Maral. Would want to be good quality to compete.

Only thing has over either of those is mags, a Maral mag runs at $220 vs $70 for a Magpul AICS that the predator model will use. But realy only need maybe two to take with you to the paddock so i don't see that breaking even on cost.
