Raptor Mag Mod

Guys,
I am a virgin poster on this site so apologies if this might have been covered previously. I am looking for some advice on how to improve bullet feeding on Remington 7600 chambered in 45 Raptor. The feed lip on my Wild Dog mags which are designed for the .308 cal projectiles is a bit too tight for the .45 cal 300gr XTP hollow point causing them to pop up prematurely when being fed from the magazine.
I have seen where the Lancer and Pro-mag magazines can have the follower shortened, but the ACIS style magazines can't be shortened due to the magazine spring design. Apart from grinding out the feed lip on all sides, is there something else that I can do to make it feed flatter and smoother?
