375 Ruger update

Further to my previous post
Managed a 1” group using ADI AR2209 and 270 grain Speers over recommended starting load of 78.5 grains
I also torqued the action screws up and increased COAL to 10 thou under max
I’m working on how to post a pic
Very happy now considering the ordinary plastic stock
Recoil definitely demands respect and hand contact with sling swivel or scope rail will result in pain!!
Also need a scope with plenty of eye relief!

Great result. I have no idea why but some brands go better in some rifles. The longer 270s would hit hard and contact the rifling a bit more. I was looking at the 358 Winchester as my largest bore rifle is 7mm and we all need a big stopper of some sort.I will look into the 375 Ruger as a possible
