Nice pictures and nice rifle!

I got the sight adjustment tool, but haven't used yet. This thing has the most peculiar front post mechanism, you can't adjust its elevation without also adjusting its windage at the same time. Yes, I know, why. Other than than this I love this rifle and it actually shoots pretty decent groups, and has a very original rotative rear sight.

Yes what an excellent little offhand service rifle - I have a Spanish cavalry carbine 762 cetme - and I use it on the 100m days runnjng cool 308 loads. I dream of an FR-8 like this however
At what point does lack of maintenance become patina?

Very nice looking rifle, FR-8 & FR-7 both on the list for the Spanish section now that I've finally found an 1895 Cavalry Carbine in 7x57. See what Santa brings
