Yes occasionally I have bumped the mag latch and the mag fell out. Twice I think. Never lost it but it is something you have to remember or fix.


Picking one up last week I got the impression the issue is exagerated. I would just paint the magazine red or orange. Or wrap some red tape around it.

I am thinking of either putting a stronger spring or shortening the catch.
actually running tape around it and taping a bit of rubber or dense foam so it sits behind the catch would work,
One well placed shot is all it takes.

Shortening the catch is what most do.
What i was on about was if the mag falls out, it's easy to see if it's red.

DI Products Inc have their own replacement magazine catch to reduce unwanted mag drops.
