How do you find the scope set up mate? any good for rollin bunnies and the like ya reckon? I used something similar at the range quite a few years back (leupold I think it was) and I didn't mind it at all to be honest.

I ordered Hawke 6-18x50 for it for target shooting but not arrived yet
first time at range I used Leupold VX-R 3-9X40 Patrol because the pic rail was loose I took it off

I don't mind those little VX-R 3-9x40's I think my mate had one of those and it was a nice little scope to look through. When you remount the Pic Rail use a little bit of loctite on the threads, should stop that from happening again.

St Mary's again, 5 shot 50 meters, the rifle is very accurate, the only thing is how good you are, unlike my other rifles such as Anschutz 1710, Lithgow 101, SAKO A7 308 or Sauer 202 Avalanche 223, which will hide a little shooter's mistake still let you shoot 5 round in one hole, FVSR enlarges your imperfection, in other word it is very sensitive

That looks like a pretty serious looking scope you've got on there mate, the rounds don't go that far without serious compensation for bullet drop!
It'll shoot the fleas off a dog's back at five hundred yards, Tannen, and it's pointed straight at your head!

Holy C**p that thing's accurate :o
And it even has some vertical in it too. Any chance you could tweak the bedding? Wouldn't blame you if you rested on your laurels :)

That "blue star" group had much better elevation, leading me to believe that your rifle is good. I am no great shakes as a bench shooter so I won't offer any advice and I don't know what you changed to halve the elevation but it's a big step forward  Come to think of it, you need to tell us (me ;) ) how you did it :)

totally no idea  I think the big elevation is caused by pulling the trigger in a wrong way or not hold the gun sturdy for a while after fire, will try and see what will happen next time

it's not stable on the bench rest, maybe due to the size and weight, also the shape of the stock, can not sitting on the rest very stable...anyway it's not a target rifle but a very good training rifle to hone the skill
