I've been having a grizzle about how long it took Aussie Post to get my new Boyd's stock to me, well it arrived today, almost perfect drop in fit. Look 100% over the old boat paddle.

Mine didn't shoot as good as the plastic one, until I bedded it. They look real rice and give you much better trigger control.

It was just a light bit of sanding mate, one side of the barrel channel was a bit closer than the other side so I relieved a bit of wood and while it's still a little close you can run a $5 note right up the channel to the receiver.

As far as I can see the only thing that may need attention is the recoil lug.

Freight from Boyd's isn't cheap at about $65 and while it only took about 5 days to get to Australia from the US it was 2 weeks in Australia before I saw it.

Don't let them tell you that it gets held up in Customs because I rang them and they said there is no problem with this sort of stock.

The ones they look for are the adjustable metal style like AR type stocks.

I hate that.

More than a once (not from Boyds) I've been chasing up deliveries and they blame the courier, or anyone else.

Only to later find out it hadn't even left the seller yet
