Push Button 223

Post by S O K A R » 15 May 2023, 8:35 am

Seems they are being made by the good people at celik arms who brought you the buckmaster, push button positioning seems to be in the same spot as the buckmaster.
Added bonus is it doesn't look like an AR, more like a 7615 if I had to compare it.
Also takes ar compatible mags (much like the 7615).
From my understanding it has already been approved to enter the country, be interesting to see how this is received by the states.
Shouldn't fall under appearance laws given the 7615 doesn't.
Be interesting to see what the accuracy on this thing is like... :unknown:

16" barrel. Would have liked to see a 308 with 24".

Bit of an acquired taste....
I wonder if a pistol grip set up to suit a 7615 would fit it?
Might improve the aesthetics slightly....

Dunno about a blowback 223. What sort of delayed or heavy bolt is employed to control that.

I think it'd look fine if they removed that hideous rib in front of the picatinny rail...

Judging by some of your responses in the past, I don't think there are any f/arms that you don't think are "butt ugly"

Yes. I was offended.
We say aesthetically impaired.
In fact I am reporting bigpete to the mods for that.

More janky imported crap flooding the market to try and make a few gimmick bucks

Adler got us all figured out - Aussie shooters will buy anything to feel like they are one step closer to living on a different continent.

Janky, or not. I won’t be buying one, but I bet they still appeal to a few, they’ll still sell to a degree. If they had a known brand behind them, and not something we’ve never heard of they’d sell a lot more.

Yep waiting to see one stripped on YouTube because blowback 223.
Doable but I’d like to see it’s innards.
Possibly why it’s approved here. Slow rate of fire if someone modded it for semi.
And I’m not really confident about the gun because there’s a lot of pressure in that breech. Words like unique and pioneering in marketing don’t give me a lot of confidence.
I’m interested in making sense of it if anyone can shed some light,
the photo looks like a 12 gauge receiver and forend with a 22 barrel photoshopped. Looks like pop riveted ?? Does it fire the actual barrel…how stable is a barrel in flight..
I’m very confused here.

Perhaps because it comes with iron sights, a taller scope-height comb makes it very difficult to use iron sights.

If it's reliable, I can see it being popular among ipsc shooters. Would be a step up from the numerous pumps and straight pulls currently on the market in regards to speed. Will be interesting to see reviews from first hand accounts.

Id love to be wrong but I doubt I will be

Let's revisit this thread in 18 months and we'll see if they go the way of the lever action adler heaps of junk - plenty of hype and sea containers full of em all sold, but still just clunky cheap rubbish

Good luck getting good accuracy out of these things
