over in NZ the little bsa "hunter" in 22 hornet were popular i've been told . their a lovley little rifle made in the 50's . some even came out with a factory muzzle break
they also came out in 222 . i saw one on ssaa gun sales a little while ago in 222. i was thinking of getting one but their a small lightish gun like a brno 465 . i don't shoot light guns off hand well so i've got a t3 223 in a heavier aftermarket stock and a rem 700 in 222 cause their weight and beefier stock suits me better . back on topic the bsa 22hornet/222 "hunter" is a lovely, well made old school gun with a big mauser style claw extractor on the little action believe it or not . real sought after collector peices .
i just looked on usedguns.com and there's a bsa hunter in 222 and a featherweight royal in 222 with the factory muzzle break . the hunter came out in 22 hornet as well . check out the royal featherweight . exceptional rifles
