Howa mini action 223 16.25”

There’s always lots of love around for a Howa mini action.
But has anyone used the 223, 16.25” varmint barrel model? The short overall length would be a lot easier to manoeuvre around in the ute than my current Lithgow. The Lithgow shoots extremely well, but it can be a bit of a handful in the ute cab.
I’ve looked at the Ruger Ranch 16”, and it didn’t do it for me.

Just do it, I had a shot of a MRX BISON 223 16.5 inch yesterday. Had a muzzle brake on so was a bit barky but was a lot of fun

Just remember Factory loads will loss around 25 fps per inch slower

It would only be 55gr factory loads hopefully.
Be a sad day if I sold the Lithgow though. Already have two 223’s. Don’t need three, but I’d probably keep it all the same.
