Omark 44 Barrel Adaptor

Post by Mad_RS » 19 Dec 2024, 1:09 am

Hi,
I'm new to the page and have purchased a Omark 44 that I want to build into a f-class standard rifle. I'm looking to fit a longer barrel and am searching for a Maddco adaptor. If anyone has one they would be willing to part with I would be very interested to get in contact.

Thanks

Chris

PS. I added some tasty pics to show off the old girl. Very handsome indeed.

Gday cant help you with the adaptor, but Total Solutions Engineering can. They bought out MAB Engineering who made Omarks. They make the non adaptor integral locking lug barrels too which shoot very well, and maybe a cheaper alternative. I bought one for a 223 Omark I once had, I still say it was the most accurate rifle I've ever owned! Regret selling it, but I got offered too much money for it.....All you have to do is identify what number bolt head you have and they can make the integral barrel to suit your bolt/rifle. I think I paid $600 for the barrel I bought, but that was 10yrs ago...I think the barrel and adaptor will cost you over $1k without finding a gunsmith, unless you can fit it yourself.
Good luck which ever way you go, Omarks are great rifles!!

Thanks for reply. I have looked into TSE and luckily they are fairly local to me. I'm looking to build a really budget f-class rifle and was hoping someone may have an adaptor laying around. I think new TSE adapters are $300+.

Hi all
New guy here from Canada.
Looking to get a maddco adapter for my Omark44.
Will Australian laws allow the export of one by business or personal mail?
Tried contacting Total Solutions Engineering but not received a response.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for your time.
