Open season or closed, and you just have to use a suitable calibre when it's open. Doesn't matter which powder you're burning.

Most the guys here that hunt with these here are just trying to extend there hunting season and you don't need loose powder you can get premeasured pellets and 209 shot gun primers and bullet's and you can go hunting
