Ok I borrowed this topic from another thread. What is that 1 gun you always wanted ?

Mine is a Holland & Holland Double rifle. I guess I read way too much Wilber Smith, when I was younger. I have no burning desire to shoot an elephant, but I think it would make an excellent fox gun ... In .470NE

Couldn't agree more, a beautiful thing, I only differ in the calibre, would prefer a 577.

Cheers, Baz.

M1 Garand. Of course, with the current laws, that's pretty much unreachable...

Yep, a nice Garand, or a M14/M1A for me!

Next on the list would have to be a Ruger SR762.

Jeez. There'd be a few. Narrowed down it would probably be; M1 Garand, Ruger Mini 14 Ranch Rifle or an L1A1.
.22LR, .222 Remington, .12g. But it's not the same when they don't live in your safe :P

In reality (as in I could actually afford it at some point) - Sako Bavarian Carbine

In fantasy land - On of the Sako 90th anniversary edition rifles. They only made 10 though and all were auctioned off for thousands and thousands. I'll never get one really

I have shot a Barret it was fun but I wouldn't buy one it is a thumping gun to shoot and I don't have the money for the ammo.
I want a browning a 5 in 20 gauge and I want a pre 64 model 70 in 375HH I have not seen many browning a 5 in 20 gauge and I have only read story's of the model 70 I guess that is why I want one.

What it is is bloody expensive and not doubt bloody heavy with all that metal in the barrels.

She's a work of art alright, just have a look at the craftsmanship in it, the detail is just exquisite no doubt about it, I could imagine the price of that bad boy!

I watched a show on some hand-made shotgun place in the UK.

Top quality stuff of course but nothing half as intricate as that, and I think theirs started at about $50k.

Nice line up too.

A .223, two 8x57 and a 20 gauge.

You'd never find yourself wanting with all that ready to go.

I think you would actually need a Cat D license for one stupidly...

Double barrel centrefire limit for cat B, the 3rd centre fire cartridge makes it cat D :(

Beautiful though.

Actually that's the calibers I was thinking, but I need better glasses lol. A friend emailed it to me, couldn't give me much background on it. It apparently was to show of the Holland & Holland Master engravers work, which I why assumed it was a Holland & Holland.
