Mosin Nagant question

Post by Eagle71 » 21 Aug 2014, 11:35 pm

Hi all,

I'm applying for a license soon and was looking into getting a Mosin Nagant, but can't seem to find any.

They seemed to be all over the place not long ago going for around $200-$400, now I see the odd one here and there going for $600-$900.

What happened to them?

Thanks.

According to some there no more army surplus stashes around of the traditional Mosin Nagant ww2 rifles.

THEY LIE

I believe that there are many buried in Russia without starting on Chinese versions.

ATM no one is importing any so domestic market is your friend.

I bought an ex Lawrence 91/30 import, basically unfired original for $450.00 a year ago They are now going for about 600.

Keep an eye on Used guns and Oz guns and if your desperate enough put an add up RE looking for Mosin Nagants and watch the emails flood in.
however........

these are available from http://www.gunsdownunder.com/

I've read also about how they've dried up, but I also believe that there's plenty more, seeing as the Russians built 37,000,000 of them, and this place in the states http://www.classicfirearms.com/mosin-na ... -the-crate is selling crates of 20 for $2500.

I got mine about 2 years ago for $600. Excellent condition too.

Would love to get my hands on a M39 :) That will be worth a mint.
