Unusual firearms

Thought this sawn off three oh was pretty cool as it was something they used in the tunnels in WW1

Got me wondering though does anyone have any unique rifles or pistols?

This then suggests that you:
a) work for one of the firearm branch in your state where they seize and destroy this short barrelled, short stocked rifle
b) work for a museum that has an exemption to hold or display a De-activated short barreled, short stocked rifle
c) are an armour in the theatrical arts with the appropriate certification
d) have seen many of these in the community and promptly reported the inappropriate ownership of such to the local firearms inspector
e) none of the above?

"E" NONE of the above.

I'm and old fella....my Uncle had one. I say had one...nobody mentioned anything about the new stupid laws......
Perhaps I know where one is now...hence I say, what's unusal about that....in fact I think my Uncle's Estate
may have donated it... ???? Maybe I have it hidden in my underground collection....

He also served in New Guinea, I have played many times with an "Owen Gun"... My father used to build them.

I'm not saying where any of them are now....guns I mean.....!!!!

The people I speak about have passed by many years ago, I would love to be physically fit to see where they served our nation on the Kokoda Track....

I'm just a young pup from the days of Vietnam....

A bolt action rifle seems like the worst option possible for a tunnel?

Any reason they didn't use a regular shotty?

Any ww1 buffs know the reasoning?

No, it is a movie prop from Star Wars, so the prior posters who state they or family have one must be related to Jawas.

Yes it is a cut down short magazine lee enfield (SMLE) No1 Mk 111* in 303
The attachment on the end of the barrel is a granade launcher the magazine would be loaded with blanks to propel a granade down a tunnel

This one doesn't count as unusual but it is rare so should belong here.

It's a Winchester Commemorative for America's Bicentenary of Federation. 40,000 of them were made and only 40 were imported to Australia.

My dad bought it brand new in 1976. It came with two boxes of commemorative ammo and a wall mount. This particular one has never been loaded or fired and has only been out of the box a handful of times, the only thing keeping it from being absolutely mint is some damage to the box

Note the damage to the box

With wall mount which I'd love to be able to use

The ammo
.177, .22lr, .22-250R, 2x .308W, .30-30W, 7.62x54r, 8x56r, 9x19, .357 Mag, 12GA
