Handy tip when swapping scopes

If like me you change scopes around as often as you change you undies, here's a simple tip to save some coin and sight in time.

Step 1 buy cheap adjustable laser with barrel mount, mount it, sight it to cross hairs, give it a wiggle recheck all good, remove old scope fit new scope sight to red dot, done perfectly resighted no ammo fired and the laser and mount can be bought on eBay for under $50

I've used the things a couple of times and agree.

I have NFI why guys go straight to sighting in at 100m with a fresh setup with or without bore sighting... Doing it the hard way IMO.

I setup a target at 25m with an A3 target so I just about can't miss and sight it in for 1" low, only takes a few shots. Move it out to 100m and that's somewhere around bulleyes depending on the calibre. A few final clicks and your done.

Takes 7-8 shots. Not 50 like you see some guys putting down at 100m and not even hitting paper... Spending all their ammo trying to work out which side of missing they're on

I hate changing scopes and having to rezero.

Think I'll have to invest in this idea.

I have bit of a cheap n' nasty alternative to this.

I change mine with the rifle on a bipod and the butt pressed down into a sand back to keep it firm.

I've stuck a dot sticker on the wall in the room where the crosshair points

Just beed to be careful when switching over not the move the rifle. Not as accurate as the laser trick here but gets you on paper straight away.
