Really loving the look of the Mauser M03 modular system. Just another interchangeable barrel system really, but a leg up in quality.

Would make a nice "scout" setup for sure. Swap it out with ther options for "African" barrel, integral brake, Stutzen stocks and barrels for a full length stock option like the Sako Bavarian Carbine. Others too.

Target and hunting stocks too.

I like.

Best gun on the market IMO.
Now that's been said, who's coming for a shot?

It sure looks great, I don't even have to look up the price to know I can't afford one though

$4,000 for an 'as new' second hand on used guns. Ouch.

edit: $500 for some quick release rings for one?! f*** that.

They're not cheap, that's for damn sure.

Great system though, and quality.

If I could afford one I'd have it in a heartbeat :D

I see you can change the bolt head for swapping between calibre groups as well.

I didn't realise anyone did that, though it was always just swapping barrels but keeping the same bolt. 22 up to 22mag and the like.

No tools needed either.

Very cool.

Nice looking target stock.

Looks like that would easily double as a hunting one and not need changing too. Just remove the rear monopod and click the cheekplate down.

Nice timber work and I'm a massive fan of interchangeable barrels having both a DTA SRS & HTI myself. Good to see a non-tacticool centerfire take this approach and hopefully the concept spreads and prices drop. As an added benefit in NSW when buying additional calibers (barrel / bolts) for this style of rifle you don't need a new PTA as the dealer just adds the new caliber to the existing registraion by way of an amendment.
