My New AR-15A3

well, in Texas at least.

I go there from time to time, and a mate was selling one of his for $500, so I snapped it up. Without thinking he said that he would send it next week, I cried. Still, will be nice to have my own rifle when i'm there, not a fan of borrowing others weapons.

I can only imagine the number of watch lists i'd be on if i asked to import it.

Good luck and enjoy...

Don't despair, if you have a firearm licence you're already on the watch list and 'they' probably already know you have bought an AR15......and have their eyes and/or electronic ears on you whether or not you try to bring it in here legally or otherwise....

usually stay at a friends place.

its so refreshing that people there view firearms as tools rather than the baby murdering WMDs they get called here. aside from the odd soccer mum, no one bats an eye to open or concealed carry. I do tell people campfire stories of our laws and restrictions, they seem to have a hard time actually understanding the insanity of it all.

i'd never bring it here, even with a permit it would be seized and paraded around as an excuse to tighten laws. was looking at a colt M2012, but they seem to be illegal in WA anyway.

So, any particulars about it? Make? Barrel length? I see it has the Magpul Battery Assist Device (BAD) and Magpul Foregrip. Both favorites of mine. Also what looks like an extended trigger guard.

Pretty much a steal for that price. Well done. Would you happen to know which trigger you got? That's my next mod.
