Hi guys,

Earlier in the year I got the Sauer 101 in .308 and love it. I was going to have look at the new S202 in maybe 22-250 or maybe .223... until I saw they're $4200!!!

Twice the price of my 101 to have iron sights and a cheek piece you can raise. Extra $2k for that?!

Am I missing something? What the...

Your 101 has a heat seated barrel. You can't replace it. Unless it goes back to the factory in Germany.

The 202 is switch barrel. Buy one for a grand, few screws and away you go. I bought a second hand 270 for mine for $600. Shoots half inch groups and it took 5 minutes to fit by a mug (me) can't do that with most guns.

Also, I bought my 202 for $2100, second hand, had never fired a shot. Basic model and a beautiful rifle.
Now that's been said, who's coming for a shot?

Somehow I missed that

I'm sure they're great, my 101 is, but switching barrels isn't something I'm interested in so it's not the one for me anyway.

Cheers for the feedback though :)

Nice score.

It would be hard to pass that up if I saw it come through.
