Sadly it has been sporterised, but at least it will match my black plastic Savage theme
I couldn't afford a non sporterised Enfield with a barrel as good as this one.
It has a nasty sniper gold 6x scope on it, I will save up and get something nicer. Thinking a Vortex Crossfire in 2-7 or 3-9.

Might get a shot out Lithgow No1 Mk3 with intact furniture later down the track. Gotta have a wooden rifle oneday!

I have originals but also a 1920 #1 Mk 3 in the same stock as yours as a lightweight sport, good rifle. They have their place in the scheme of things.

Yeah, I have wanted an enfield for a couple of years, wood is pretty, but this thing is practical. My be going on a pig hunting trip up to Queensland, so it will come in handy :)

It is in really good nick with a superb bore, I imagine I will be very happy with it when it is home.

It did seem very light when it was in my hands. Should be a good hunting rifle.

Yes indeedy.

(Just realised I haven't updated my signature)

I've got the HS 6-24x50mm on my .223 like it says. I have a .270 which isn't listed, and that's got a the Crossfire 3-9X50m sitting on it.

Both get the

It is now wearing a secondhand (but looks brand new) Leupold VXI 2-7x33 scope.
Popped up at the shop the other day for the price of a Vortex Crossfire.
