Any other AYA owners out there?

Recently inherited and AYA #4 box lock ejector 12g s/s from my father who no longer shoots. Looking around the shops and forums haven't seen many others in aus.

Any Enough Gun members have and AYA and if so, what are you sporting and how is it?

Oh and I'll add that dad lives in the UK and we exported/imported the firearm out here to aus.

Too rich for me but fine shooters.

A #2 round action side lock would look real nice in my gun cabinet ;)

I don't believe the #4 BOXLOCKS are too pricey, the SIDELOCKS are the real top class ones.

The #4 Boxlocks are more of a all purpose, rough and ready type of shotgun, carry over your arm while out walking kind of guns. Difficult to guage their worth in Aus as not many other aya owners out here.

They come up on used guns now and then for a few grand cheaper than new.

There is an AYA Field 28" on there at the moment for $850.

I have one, top firearm - I put three or four slabs through it every year shooting in the field . Our family have used them for many years with no issues.

I was going to have one.

Agreed to buy through used guns and at last minute seller changed mind and never heard from him again :(
