Sauer 101 accuracy

Post by iwaslike » 15 Oct 2013, 8:36 am

I'm out for a new hunting rifle, calibre still to be decided but something in the .270 - 30 cal range will be where I'm looking.

My LGS guy was give the Sauer 101 a good wrap, and it feels like a good rifle.

Can't do any range testing in store though obviously ;)

Hoping a few here can give me some first hand feedback on Sauer 101 accuracy.

IWL.

I got the thumbs up on the Sauer 101 from my local LGS too.

He has one in 7mm-08 and showed me pictures of his best loads.

Shooting off the best with a rest/rear bag he was getting one ragged hole at 100m with hunting bullets.

And from me.

A fine rifle IMO.

Has the quality of some of the high-end brands without the price tag.

I reckon go for it IWL.
Good news, everyone!

Er, I meant to say 7mm Rem Mag sorry. Not 7mm-08.
