Looks interesting - Howa have certainly changed their range of rifles for 2015 :D Now all they need to do is make a Lefty for all the lefties out there and they'd have pretty much everything covered. :D

Sounds good I like my stainless varmint in .308 but they're plain rifles they are "just a gun". accurate yes, pretty not a chance. I was thinking of getting a .204 for the missus this could be the go perhaps they will offer a shorter stock for smaller people!

Yep they are a no frills rifle alright but they do work and work very well when set up correctly. Not sure about them making diff stock lengths (I very much doubt they would do it) if it was me and I wanted the stock shorter I'd just cut the bastard to suit.

About 10% of folks are left handed they say.

A lot of them decide it's not worth doing I guess.

The new Howa Mini Action will almost be the same length as my Sako L461Ai which is only shorter by approx 6mm.

Not me, 1290. I need a new 223 in left hand because using a right hand action with your left hand when you're naturally right handed is a pain in the butt. There are other options, but if Howa made one, i'd be getting one due to the affordable performance side of things.

Also considering Zasty and Tikka but will see if i can hold out until Lithgow bring out a left 223.
