Kid in a high calibre candy store

Not too far from me is the LGS Magnum Sports, dunno if anyone caught their ad in the latest SSAA mag but they call themselves the .50BMG and high calibre specialists.

Ad says they've got Armalite AR50, Barrett M99, M95, Steyr HS (How's that going Brett?) Mcmillan TAC and Haenel RS-9s.

I'm not usually a tire kicker as I don't want to waste sales guys times but if all that is hanging on the wall I'm going for a gawk

Been a while since I've been in there but they were a pretty small shop, I dunno they'd have room to have many examples on hand. They were great guys to deal with though and probably wouldn't be that upset at people coming in for a look

Heading north on the 26th of the month to test the Steyr with the Khales / Era-Tac mount and I've got a couple properties to check out in the area which kills 2 rabbits with the one bullet. Looking for 500 acres or more so I can shoot the big stuff without any interference from cows, fences, neighbours or random tree hugging hippies / greenies.
Without trying to sound like a Magnum Sports fanboi, they are good guys, great service and have always looked after me. I'd love them to get a bigger shop but that's probably not going to happen anytime soon.
As a heads up they will have some more Barrett 50 BMG's in around a month or so from now so start saving

It's about $12 a shot for hand loads IIRC. Keep $15 in your pocket every time you go to the range and maybe you'll luck out and find someone shooting one on the day.

Most guys are happy to give you a shot if you cover their ammo cost.
