Thank you Blaser customers! In just under five years the revolutionary R8 rifle has eclipsed all sales expectations and now the 100,000th rifle is manufactured. The Blaser Custom Shop created the 'R8 serial number 100,000.' Painter Rudi Kohl drafted, in his signature style, a painstaking depiction of 'The Argali - King of Wild Sheep' in their natural habitat. Engraver Jürgen Göser implemented the drafts, meticulously and with absolute attention to detail. Features of the gun include:
- The very highest order curl wood
- First of its kind octagonal barrel, fluted and highly polished
- Font and rear open sights machined from a solid billet to blend harmoniously with the silhouette of the rifle.
- Skeletonized octagonal pistol grip cap and steel butt plate, inlayed with ebony complete the frame for this exceptional work of art that epitomizes the bespoke nature of the Blaser Custom Shop.

The R8 serial number 100,000 is currently on display at IWA. Facebook.

That's some seriously busy engraving on the action and bolt there.

Not sure if I like it.

A touch much for my liking but if it's hand crafted then it's a nice commemorative piece.

Probably looks a lot better IRL.

Scale and the photo wouldn't do it justice.
