Stick through all the trigger guards so you can pull them simultaneously.

It goes on an AR-15 lower with special stock and hammer (not shown) and takes a 5 round mag. Safety Harbor .50.
The ammo in the can is armor piercing incendiary, the ammo in the box on top is tracer, and the ammo in the magazine on the arm of the chair is Raufoss MK211 high explosive armor piercing incendiary.

I saw a big guy many years ago wander into the Colonial Gun shop in Quay St asking what the biggest gun they had was. John Kell who worked there handed him a .460 Wby Mag, the guy asked if he could test fire it and in those days the shop had a test pit in the ground you could shoot into. The bloke stood over the hole with the stock firmly wedged into his armpit and pulled the trigger....blew him clean outta his thongs and put him on his ass. Has to be one of the funniest things I've seen in my life but I saved my laughter till he'd left the shop. Old John passed away some years ago along with his massive knowledge of al things firearm related.
Needless to say John blew that sale...literally

For some reason my father purchased a 460 wby mag a year ago. Has a ported barrel which should help with the recoil some. Still managed to punch myself in the face twice with my right hand on the rear of the stock. At $250-$300 a box of 20 factory ammo it was an expensive day at the range...

Cheaper to shoot 50BMG at that price and I think you need to introduce me to your dad cause he sounds like my kind of guy. If you're a reasonable distance from Sydney and have an area suitable for 50Cal I'd love to have a few shots outta the big Weatherby. I can give the old man the experience of shooting 50BMG, 416 Barrett, .375 Cheytac in return. If no suitable area available I have 400 Acres just out of Narrabri in NW NSW if that's close to you. I'm in envy of the .460 cause that's number 1 on my bucket list to shoot.
