They seem to have a good rep from what I've heard about em mate, haven't used one but have seen a few in action and they seem to be fine from what I've seen. Plenty of reviews out there on em and from my understanding they are based on the Beretta 686 from memory.

I guess get down to a gunshop and see how it fits you (the important part) hopefully someone there knows their shotguns and how to make sure they fit you well.

For a grand the 686 makes a pretty good sporting shotty IMO.

They're not top shelf Berettas but they're a fraction of the price so what do you expect :)

A value for money buy IMO.

Another option could possibly be the Akkar Chrurchill Combo kit, comes in a nice plastic case with both a 20" & 30" barrel along with 5 chokes. Paid $1250 I think some months ago from HPGS. I've been impressed so far with the quality and reliability no matter what ammo I've put through it. My only gripe would be with the timber work, it's needs some good quality stock oil hand rubbed into it to stop it from drying out and feeling rough.
How's my posting?
